Ask Favr Ltd, the Dublin-registered peer-to-peer micro-help platform, is marking a new milestone in its ongoing partnership with ELSA Ireland — the European Law Students' Association — at the ELSA Ireland National Council Meeting XXXI, taking place in Dublin on 29 May 2026.

As part of this partnership, Favr is sponsoring a student bursary to support Irish law students in attending a Summer ELSA Law School (SELS) abroad this summer. Recipients, selected from applications submitted by ELSA Ireland members, will travel to programmes across Europe to study international and European law alongside students from universities across the continent.

The ELSA Summer Law School programme is one of the most respected academic mobility initiatives in European legal education, giving students the opportunity to develop their international legal knowledge and professional networks in an immersive environment.

"I built Favr because I believe most people either need help they can't easily access, or have time and skills they can't easily monetise. Supporting students who want to go further but face financial barriers is exactly the kind of problem Favr was built to solve."

— Claudio Gaspar, Founder, Ask Favr Ltd

Favr is a progressive web app available at askfavr.com that connects people who need help with people nearby who can provide it — in real time, at a price set by the user. The platform uses Stripe-powered escrow payments to ensure every transaction is safe and confirmed before funds are released. It requires no app store download and is available across Europe.

The ELSA Ireland National Council Meeting is the annual gathering of ELSA chapter presidents and representatives from universities across Ireland, including DCU, TCD, UCD, UCC, and the University of Galway.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment between Favr and ELSA Ireland to building meaningful opportunity for young people — and both organisations look forward to continuing to grow that collaboration in the year ahead.
